Happy Easter!

This was Annalise's first Easter. What a joy to celebrate Christ rising from the dead while holding a new life he has created. We are so blessed to serve a God who has risen and can promise life after death, yet who cares about what happens to us in this world as well. We can't wait to tell Annalise all about the One who created her.

Isn't she adorable in her little Easter outfit? This was the first outfit we bought for her before she was born (not intending it for Easter, but hey, it worked). Her socks have Easter bunnies on them.

On Saturday night we celebrated Easter at our church and then on Sunday we joined my sister and brother-in-law for a huge outdoor Easter celebration at their church. It was very fun and Annalise behaved very well.

On Sunday evening we ate Easter dinner together at home. Dave made roast lamb - my personal favorite, and very appropriate on Easter since Christ called himself the lamb who died to pay for our sins.

We wish you all a wonderful Easter and a renewed appreciation for Christ's sacrifice.

I love these pictures...she is soooo cute. I'm convinced that she already looks different from when I last saw her. That outfit is adorable. I didn't know you had a kattan in orange as well, very cool. So it seems that little Annalise is doing better at going out now. I miss her and you guys already. I hope you guys will be able to come up to sj some time soon.
